used to be super happy, now feeling scammed
I had been a super happy user since 2020. However, OpenDrive decided that for 2026 they are going to ignore policy and law. They needed to do a price increase for 2026, which would have been fine with me if they would have let me know prior, but they didn't inform me and just tried to charge it when my regular payment was due. Of course my bank did not allow it, since my agreement was with the original amount. Then they suspended my account - which means I couldn't reach my files - while I was trying to figure out what happened. I got a notice of 90 days before my data would get removed. I have been sending them emails with questions and inquiries about not following policies, but I get a one-fits-all reply to my emails, and on top of it all they just charged my newly added creditcard without my prior consent. I don't understand what happened, did they switch CEO or something? I would not recommend to anyone a company that isn't honest and does not follow rules or law.
