Please don’t buy from here, unless you can afford to pay twice!
I’ve bought from and returned items to JJ’s House before and have always been pleased, so was surprised when I had to return some items and they didn’t refund me correctly. I contacted them on the app and explained that I’d only received £23.01 of a £69.99 order. They came back to me and said that I hadn’t returned all of the items from the order, when I most certainly have because I didn’t even take all bar 1 out of the box! I explained this, and then the excuse was that they don’t refund postage and taxes. Disappointed, I tried to explain to them that the actual items weren’t refunded, not the postage and tax but they simply repeated themselves, sending pictures of data that were too small to read. I challenged this again and told them I couldn’t see the pictures, but they’ve stuck to the postage and taxes point. £40+ on postage and taxes? Absolutely not! I’m really sad, as I was planning on buying accessories and matching things to the bridesmaids dresses I’ve bought and asked people to buy from here, but now I just want to get something completely different. Unfortunately, I don’t have the budget to do this, which means I’m stuck, as I can’t even return the dress (or ask people to return) because apparently this company can’t be trusted not to scam their customers. For a bride on a budget, this was beyond disappointing and without a resolution, I will have to encourage my entourage and their upcoming wedding parties to avoid JJ’s House like the plague, lest they go through what we have.
