Card payment is risky?
I saw the reviews were really good so I decided to give them a try. They had a good selection of frames for sure. I found one I really liked and put my prescription in and went to pay. After I put in my card information, I received a pop up saying the payment could not go through due to a security risk/issue. It then prompted me to use PayPal, klarna, or another payment. It was weird because I’ve never had issues with the card before. I assumed it was because it was overseas? So I chose paypal and attempted to check out as a guest. I used the same card and would get a PayPal charge for $0.00, which was obviously not the price of the glasses. I waited a few minutes to see if my bank would send a notification that there was a possible attempt to make a fraudulent transaction, but nothing came through. So I attempted again and the exact same thing happened. When I reached out to customer service, they told me to just contact my bank, which would be useless because the transaction never touched my bank account. The website would not allow the payment to go through. My bank would not be able to help for a charge that never occurred…? Anyway I just cancelled it because it was too much of a hassle to simply pay. Not too fond of providing card information without a product being purchased.
