Academic support for different needs
We enrolled our 13 and 15 year olds in the group when we had a unexpected relocation. I had contacted this school previously so I knew what they offered. The online structure of the curriculum (materials, tests, quizzes, etc ) allow for easy student feedback and I personally loved it. Their teachers were really great and tried to make their lesson as interactive as possible; however I noticed: 1.) my older is a lot more motivated when he can set his own learning pace (i.e. not in the group, but one-to-one plan)which allowed him to move faster on easier subjects and give himself more time on the more challenging ones, and 2.) other kids (like my younger) need to have a lot more physical (not virtual) interaction with their peers to keep their motivation and energy levels up. Millie helped us navigate through the individual needs and pace of each of them. This really help smooth our relocation and gave us one less thing to worry about as we settled in our new location.
