PLEASE don't use this site
PLEASE don't use this site. It is sketchy at best. There is NO WAY to contact the host-only the first name and last initial are stated. There is no phone #, and no address to verify-only email. I emailed the host (ALex M in Freeport FL) and he said the property WAS available. I then booked it and gave my cc info. At this point they have your CC info and YOU HAVE NOTHING-no name, no address etc-very questionable. They have 24 hours to respond or it is cancelled-which is what happened, and that was AFTER I was headed his way. So the reservation was cancelled, and Alex stopped communicating. Fast forward-he finally communicated stating he had gotten a new phone and couldn't download the hipcamp app, but the property was no longer available-EVEN THO IT WTILL SHOWED IT WAS ONLINE, and if he had no phone-how did it become unavailable?! I am both a business owner and a landlord-this whole thing is shady.
