I measured the dress and it was at least a size smaller than the measurements on the website - this was unfortunate as it meant I couldn't zip it all the way up. I feel like the owners of this store could be a lot more honest about the returns process - as I would not have bought the dress if I knew the process was so difficult and expensive, and that the buyer pays for the whole lot. The dress was not cheap too. For the price I paid, I could have gotten something very good locally. As it is, unfortunately I will just have to write this one off down to experience. Tracy was good about offering a refund if I returned the dress. But the fact that she asked me to declare a different amount meant I would have no legal protection if something happened to it during transit. And I would have spent 1/3 the price of the dress on return. All in all, this did not feel like a good experience, and I won't be buying anything else from this store. I would recommend anyone else buying from it to be cautious - they have beautiful social media advertising, but the real life experience does not reflect the ads.
