Deceptive and unreliable
This is one of the most unreliable companies I have ever worked with. I published a book, “The Politics of Adversity” and wanted to do some extended marketing. My publisher, Liberty Hill Publishing, did an outstanding job getting my book published and included a press release and marketing campaign. I researched ReadersMagnet and saw the terrific reviews on Trustpilot. I spent $1800 (which was negotiated down from $2300) with them to do a book fair and press release. The contract I signed stated that the press release would go to “Political Contacts” which is my target audience. After four months of them trying to convince me to use “Legal Contacts” instead, I finally found out that they never had a list of “Political Contacts”. They wouldn’t refund my money so I had no choice but to use the “Legal Contacts” list. After 6 months with ReadersMagnet, using the Los Angele Times Book Fair, a digital press release, and a marketing campaign, I sold exactly 0 books. If you use these people, and I would strongly advise against it, be sure to get a copy of everything they propose to do with all the details you can get. Proceed with extreme caution!!
