The SPINO S1 Kickstarter is a joke
I backed the Kickstarter for the Spino S1 new model pool cleaner (the base model, without the dock). It was supposed to be delivered in mid-June, "just in time for Summer" (I'm in Australia so the reverse of that, but that was the sales spiel) - here we are now in August and the pool cleaners are nowhere to be seen. Mammotion have published a couple of cop-out excuses and apologies on the Kickstarter page, but that's just PR guff - zero pool cleaners have actually been shipped, and they won't give a definitive date for shipment. A hugely disappointing experience with this company. Cannot recommend whatsoever, their word is clearly worth nothing and they cannot deliver on any of their promises. I dread to think what happens when the pool cleaner finally does arrive and there's a problem with it - the 'three year warranty' is likely to be as painful and as useless as the promises so far.
