Double Charged – Refusal to Refund
I subscribed to Smodin intending to purchase the monthly plan, but due to lack of clarity on their platform, I was mistakenly charged for both the monthly and the annual plan. I immediately canceled the annual plan, but the platform refused to issue a refund for the amount of USD 180 (approx. BRL 1,036.80). This charge was completely unfair, as it was clearly an error in their subscription process. I contacted them directly, but their support provided no solution and insisted on keeping the money, despite the service not being used. This is unacceptable behavior for a company offering online subscriptions. I strongly advise others to be very careful before entering payment details on Smodin.
