Was an excellent experience
First, the curriculum is well designed and thought out. You learn basic computing concepts as well as computing concepts (e.g. what's the cloud? What's the world-wide-web, etc.). Also the programming exercises reinforce what you learn and gradually become more challenging. Next, the mentoring and advising is spot on. My mentor was technically adept so I could bounce ideas off of him. The advising made sure I was on track and could kick in when necessary. Lastly, you receive good career advise and guidance on how to create/update your resume and LinkedIn profile. I only needed "tweeks" in these areas but if you're starting from scratch, you're covered.
