Ridiculous Customer Service.
I had a ridiculous transaction with WattCycle. They listed a low price for a set of 4 battery cells. When they sent me a fully integrated 12 Volt battery I tried to return it. Instead of accepting the return, they told me to merely "open" the battery to retrieve the cells I bought. Stupid. But I have tools and cut open the battery to find cells that didn't match the description on the listing. I couldn't even use them. They dragged me through a protracted argument which lasted months before they finally arranged for a return and refund. I'll never try them again even though there's a good chance this was a perfect storm of misunderstanding and incompetence shielded by AI agents manning the customer service desk.
