Litfad

Avoid this company, or you will regret it.

I bought an office chair from this company costing £450 which arrived in December 25. After a few months of use one of the upholstery button came off and the so called 'real leather' started to peel off the arms. Litfad initially would not refund or replace the item ( which they should do under UK consumer laws) but instead offered me a 15% discount on future purchases. I wrote a review on Trust Pilot and then after agreeing to remove it, tag da !they allowed me to exchange for a different chair. After 3 months of the slow boat from China the new chair arrived a couple of weeks ago. It was in damaged packaging. After putting the chair together I noted two strange cuts in the back of the chair that were stitched together with the leather already fraying around the cuts, presumably where the buttons should have gone. The chair back seat angle adjustment also does not work. I'm now in the same sorry state as before. They say the manufacturer says this stitching is normal (i've never seen this on a chair before, they probably just rand out of blue leather buttons !), but as compensation they will offer me, you guessed it, 15% off future orders! This time they have upped their game though and offer a 'surprising gift' too! these are basically a list of tacky items to choose from like children's bedroom lamps probably worth less than a tenner ! This company may have a nice website but don't be fooled. the products are overpriced with terrible quality and they do not follow UK consumer laws, so you are in trouble if you have a problem. Avoid !!!
