Poor after sales
Ordered an item on their website 12/03 after falling for the nice discounts on offer. I changed my mind after deciding to purchase something else, and sent through a cancellation email to support to get their attention. 2 additional emails later and still no response, have now raised a claim with PayPal. Monies were deducted a few days back also, however item is still showing awaiting despatch. This is a symptomatic issue with these nicely priced Mini-PC's being sold by Chinese companies, the support and communication is often pathetic. This is now the 2nd Chinese manufacturer I've had this issue with, and now I'm done with them. ******************************************************* Update 03/04/2025 After failed attempts at communications for a cancellation, I raised a claim with PayPal which got their attention. They offered 5% compensation if chose to keep the product, and foolishly I accepted it. One caveat was that I withdrew the complaint, which I only did after I received the product. Further communications with them are now non-existent now. They got my money and I have not been refunded me 5% of the value of the item as agreed. Please do not buy or deal with GMKtec, as they are a bunch of scammers, who will take your money and make it impossible to recover any of it. Broken promises and terrible customer services. ******************************************************* Update 08/04/2025 After re-raising a dispute once again, and sending further emails, they finally refunded the 5% as promised, I guess PayPal probably forcing their hand here. Honestly it's incredible they feel they can trade with this level of customer services which is on par with MinisForum. At least so far the units I've bought from GMKTec are still working, unlike both of my MinisForum devices which failed within a year and had to return them back.
