Good educational foundation, but the user experience is increasingly monetized
I have used Babypips' 'School of Pipsology' and found it to be a very helpful educational resource for early-stage traders. The introductory modules ('Preschool' through 'Elementary') offer a solid, easy-to-understand foundation, and the team does a great job breaking down complex topics. However, my overall user experience has been mixed recently due to changes in their business model. I noticed that more advanced, essential topics—like risk management and macro fundamentals—are now gated behind premium subscriptions. Additionally, the curriculum is now heavily integrated with affiliate promotions for charting platforms and prop firms. It remains a good starting point for absolute beginners, but I would love to see a return to a more unbiased, freely accessible structure, or at least clearer distinctions between educational content and promotional material.
