I ultimately decided not to continue…
I ultimately decided not to continue with this course. While the legal content may be accurate, I found the overall learning experience disappointing. Most of the course consisted of reading large blocks of text with very little meaningful interaction. I often felt like I was spending more effort interpreting the presentation than learning the concepts themselves. The videos primarily repeated what was already covered in the reading, terminology was occasionally inconsistent, and the "Flights of a Feather" activities were basic matching exercises that frequently glitched during my experience. If you prefer courses that rely heavily on reading, this course may work for you. If you're looking for a well-designed online learning experience with engaging activities, clear instructional scaffolding, and a polished user experience, I would look elsewhere. I will say that Aceable's Learning Experience team responded quickly to my concerns, which I appreciated. However, their response seemed to focus primarily on whether the legal content was accurate, while my feedback centered on inconsistent terminology, unclear and misleading phrasing, unnecessary complexity, and user experience. As a result, I didn't feel that my primary concerns about the overall learning experience were fully addressed.
