This Company & Its Many 'Facebook Facades' Are Not Trustworthy

I ordered two 'Shamrock' hats in early January, based on the photo featured in the company's ad on Facebook. In the photo, the 'Shamrock' appears to be embroidered. The hats finally arrived one month later, and I discovered that the 'Shamrocks' on the hats were not embroidered at all. They were cheap 'appliques' ironed on. Both hats are cheap garbage, made even more 'cheap' by the use of the appliques. The year before, I ordered two 'shamrock' hats from TEMU for St. Patrick's Day. Those TEMU hats were less costly than this company's garbage, and the hats from TEMU actually arrived in about 18 days -- not a month after the order. And, of course, the TEMU hats had embroidered shamrocks, not cheap appliques. I have been fighting with this company for 20 days, trying to get a full refund. They don't understand the value of "positive" Buyer feedback. Instead, I've been sharing my dissatisfaction aggressively & repeatedly on Facebook, every time one of the company's ads streams by. A few days ago, I was reviewing the email copy of the initial order. That came to $28.07 USD ('USD stands for 'United States Dollars'). But, my PayPal account was charged $35.46 USD -- including $7.09 USD for "Sales Tax". Sales tax on the two hats alone would be $1.40 USD. If the $9.99 USD charged for shipping is included in assessing the Sales Tax, then the Sales Tax would be $2.10. So, where does the $7.09 charged for Sales Tax come from ? Was it just an arbitrary amount added under the 'guise' of Sales Tax to increase the company's profits, on the assumption that I wouldn't notice ? That $7.09 "Sales Tax" amount is very suspicious, on top of the fact that I was never informed about Sales Tax being charged BEFORE I approved the order, nor was I ever given the opportunity to approve the $35.46 total amount before my PayPal account was charged. Personally, I think the company in China is engaging in FRAUD, and I plan to bring that to the attention of the US Department of Commerce and also the Bank of China in New York. ----- A Suggestion: Consider TEMU before you spend any money with this company which sells cheap merchandise and pads its bills. A company taking good money for bad products... and even worse Customer Care ! ----- Basically, this company -- through its many 'phony facades' on Facebook -- is not trustworthy.
