They blocked one of my game accounts and said as reason that someone tried a chargeback. Wasn't me though and hence I was unaware of any chargeback for my account. Heck I dunno who would even spend money on my game account besides me... To unlock it again they demanded a proof of purchase for a purchase I never made to begin with. And I am quite sure they could check that since you need a (seagm) account to buy anything there. So this is kind of nonsense to demand something you know the other party cannot provide. But hey... they offer an alternative in the same request... As alternative they asked me to do a "verification process" which in their mind is you sending them a selfie with your national ID. Makes even less sense. What does it proof if there really was a chargeback - which there wasn't? I still cannot proof a purchase I never made by it. It does not proof any of my previous purchases (yes, I made purchases without any problem beforehand). Does it proof that I as person exist? I dunno what they are thinking... Honestly just seems shady as hell - especially since I was able to use it for about half a year without such ridiculous demands. After I explained them that I cannot proof a purchase I never made and that their demand of a selfie with my national ID visible is ridiculous and will not happen, I simply got informed that the game account will be kept blocked. That's right. The game account. Not the seagm account. That one I can still use. Makes no sense at all.
