A shoe that's only promoted by influencers
You get what you paid for! The customer service was helpful and prompt in replying which is always appreciated. I've been wearing the mary janes and the leather is quite soft, not super thick, so not much to break in. They are comfortable and I walked around NYC for a whole day, so I will definitely add these to my rotation of shoes. My pair are leather outsoles and insoles which means yes I need to take them to the cobbler, but they did include the sole stickers(also socks) for the shoes in the box. Now the website isn't great in terms of navigating. I found that they aren't super consistent on the description of to shoe. You do have to look into the descriptions, and even then they seem to be phasing out versions and trying to streamline their shoes so there are discrepancies you should be aware of. They aren't big investments so it's nice to experiment through this brand if you're interested in the tabi footwear. When I was looking into this brand, I swear majority of the information was on Tiktok and reddit, so looking into the quality of the shoes felt a bit uncomfortable? Especially when all the information I found online was very inconsistent. Light 4 but not a 3 star shop! I'd consider buying again. I would recommend you to measure your foot in cm and compare the measurements to the chart of the shoe you're interested in because it varies.
