Pixlr

Solid tool with some advanced features, like layers, and worked great on mobile

I wanted to create an image with two layers and erase part of the top layer. Most tools wouldn't erase or only did AI erase which left the body of the image intact, exactly what I did not want. I chose Pixlr's regular editor, not AI, and it worked very well on my phone, a very old, refurbished Pixel 3a. The editor allowed me to upload multiple images, work in layers, had an eraser that worked, had an eraser that allowed me total control of erasing, and allowed me to easily resize layers and tools, as well as auto saving so I didn't have to redo nearly all of my work. One star removed because it didn't have a mobile layout, so I had to rotate between landscape and portrait to use various controls, as well as trying to steer me towards AI crap so I had to take extra steps to find the regular editor that I like and have used for years.
