Absolutely NOT what it says on the tin! It’s cry it out sleep training at the end of the day. It’s stroking your baby then phasing that out. Or talking to them through a speaker then phasing that out too. I wish I knew at the time ALL sleep training, including the ones dressed up as ‘gentle’ ‘supportive’ ‘no cry it out’ at the end of the day revolve around withholding comfort. Whether it’s cuddles, feeding or rocking. They all end in leaving them to cry which obviously doesn’t teach them to sleep, it only teaches them that you won’t respond to their cries. It’s absolutely heartbreaking how many babies suffer at the hands of companies like this who are blatantly lying to parents. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
