Sold me a region-locked Google Play code without warning — then blamed me
I bought a Google Play (EU) gift card from SEAGM without any warning that it was region-locked. After paying, I found out the code was locked to Belgium only, even though I'm in the EU. When I contacted support, they were unhelpful, barely understandable (Felt like i was talking to AI, but with bad English) and kept repeating “make sure your country is in the EU,” as if that somehow solves a Belgium-only lock. They refused a refund and made me fill out multiple forms, claiming a “5-day investigation.” Then, without resolving anything, they told me to contact Google support — who confirmed the code was only valid for Belgium. Support finally said “sorry no refund.” I ended up fixing the issue myself by creating a new Belgium Google account with a VPN. The code worked — which proves they sold a valid code but failed to disclose the region lock or help me at all. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never use SEAGM again, and I highly recommend others avoid them too. If you're not in the exact region a code is locked to, you'll be ignored and blamed.
