Multiple hidden fees, confusing system, and a very frustrating experience
I ordered a jacket through Superbuy, and honestly — this will be the last time I ever use their service. Here’s what happened: 1. First payment: I paid for the item plus what I thought were shipping fees. Turns out, that was only for internal handling and storage. 2. Second payment: Later, I was asked to pay a much higher fee for the actual shipping from China. That cost wasn’t made clear at the start. 3. Third payment: After all that, they hit me with an additional charge due to “volumetric weight”. Another 124 Yuan, or my parcel would be blocked. The entire process was extremely confusing, with fees added step by step. What started as a reasonably priced order turned into a much more expensive purchase due to unclear and layered charges. It feels like you’re being trapped into paying more at every stage, once it’s too late to back out. Yes, the customer service replies quickly — but that doesn’t make up for the lack of transparency and poor overall experience. I strongly do not recommend Superbuy unless you’re okay with paying far more than expected, and dealing with a messy and misleading system.
