Jetpac Travel eSIM

Unreliable connection, non existent WhatsApp support

Jetpac might have a good service for other customers in different countries but in my case it clearly didn't work. I bought a 30 days 15GB pack for Thailand. The connection was working more or less okay during the first 20 days. However, it was not easy to activate at all. It took around one hour upon landing while the Jetpac service started to work. In addition, day 21 there was a service outage for almost a day. I thought something went wrong with my phone. I tried all possible troubleshooting, restarted my phone about 10 times. Nothing has worked. Arriving back at my hotel and having Wi-Fi, I asked for help through their WhatsApp support. I got no assistance at all. I don't seem to get any response for five days now. A day later (after the outage) I received an email though, blaming the local network operator who - according to Jetpac - had connectivity issues. It's hard to accept because after the outage for about 12 hours I bought another pack from a different, reliable eSIM service provider, Ubigi, who is using the same local network as Jetpac does and surprisingly my connection worked perfectly. While Jetpac was still down. I appreciate service outage might happen in different locations, out of the control of Jetpac. However, the lack of any support, WhatsApp help request unanswered is something I was not expecting from them. Hence, I find Jetpac unreliable, the WhatsApp customer service is non-existent. Customers requiring assistance either through WhatsApp or by email, get only an answer by email in a day or so. Their response is anyway meaningless. So, I just disabled and deleted Jetpac's eSIM and I don't think I would ever use it again. Fortunately there are many other reliable eSIM service provider.
