The company website did not make clear that they are in china and that if you don't have a credit card with waived international fees you will be charged extra. Returns from the company website are anything but easy. First they try and convince you to keep them , give you a discount to buy a new pair. If you refuse you have to take pictures of the shoes and packaging. If they approve then you pay return shipping to Kentucky in the US. I would buy them on Amazon if you really want them. Skip all the hassle. I regret buying from the company directly. Not a really great quality shoe either. You can get plenty of flat , thin soled, canvas shoes of different brands. I'd keep looking. I'm sending mine back despite the difficulty.
