My Experience with Rev.com – Over 4 Years as an Independent Contractor I’ve been an independent contractor with Rev.com for over four years now, and it has been my main source of income during that time. I’m truly grateful to be part of a platform that has allowed me to work remotely and earn a living doing captioning work. Rev has provided me with opportunities to grow my skills, and for a long time, there was a steady stream of projects available. However, in recent months, I’ve noticed a significant drop in available projects. The queue has become increasingly dry, making it harder to rely on Rev the way I used to. While I understand that workflow can fluctuate, the lack of consistent projects has been challenging, especially for long-time contractors who depend on this platform for their livelihood. Despite this, I still appreciate the structure, user interface, and support that Rev provides. I hope that in the future, more projects will become available again, and that the platform continues to value its experienced contractors who have been loyal through the ups and downs.
