My 16-year-old son recently returned from a two-week Chinese language summer school program in Shanghai, and I can confidently say it was one of the best summer experiences we’ve ever had — and we’ve done many camps over the years. The program was organized through his school group in collaboration with the Chinese Association in Genova, and from start to finish, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism. The organization was flawless — from travel arrangements and accommodation to the structure of daily activities and language classes. What truly stood out was the exceptional care and attention provided to the students. There was 24-hour supervision, and we always felt that our son was in safe and caring hands. Communication with parents was outstanding — we received regular updates, photos, and messages, which really made us feel involved despite being miles away. The program itself was a perfect blend of intensive language learning and cultural immersion. My son not only improved his Mandarin but also came back with a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture, history, and everyday life in Shanghai. He made new international friends, explored the city, and gained a sense of independence and confidence that only this kind of experience can offer.
