Scam! Beware!
I made a reservation for a round trip flight on the Travoport website. My purchase price was $216. I then received an email and a call saying that there were issues with the reservation and I needed to call and sort the issue out. I called and was told: I couldn’t check in prior to my flight via an app and I needed to go to the airline ticket counter. I couldn’t not pick my seat. I couldn’t bring on a personal item or carry on bag. I was then told I could not bring any luggage at all. I couldn’t check and pay for any baggage at the airport. I was out of luck. But the rep told me for a mere $87 dollars each way ($174 total) I would “get upgraded to the main cabin, I could bring my luggage to the airport, I could pick my seat, and I bring a carry on. Upgraded to the “main cabin?” Where the hell was I to be seated? In the cargo hold next to the luggage I could have with me? Scam!!!!!
