Do not order from this company
Update: they will only agree to give me all my money back less shipping if I remove this review. That shows you how shady this company is. I am would be suspect of all the recent positive reviews after mine I have been considering this hair for a year + i was afraid to order it because thought it would be a scam. I was looking for a crochet human hair, which is difficult to find I saw the ad for hair on Instagram and Facebook At first, I noticed there were no comments under many of the posts so that made me wary because I figured they kept comments turned off to avoid negative comments. Then I started to see a lot of influencer reviews of the hair, and I started seeing more comments. They were primarily people asking about the hair and asking questions, but I did see comments from a few people who had ordered the hair and seem to like it. So I finally ordered it. I ordered 5 bundles of the Afro kinky crochet hair. I remember noting they said you could return it if you were not satisfied so that made me feel OK .The hair came fairly quickly and the return shipping address on the label was from Kentucky. I received the hair and my first immediate thought was disappointment at how small the bundles were. But the influencer said if you pull it apart, they were able to easily do their head with 3 bundles so I felt like I’d be covered with 5 but they’re very small bundles. I kind of felt the hair through the packaging and it’s a little stiff. I did open one of the packages to touch the hair, but I didn’t take it out and it still feels very stiff for human hair. I ordered a wig from another company Her Given Hair that was human hair. It’s totally soft. The hair from Her Given Hair years later stll feels great just like your own hair. The hair from every other company I’ve ever ordered from…felt better on day 1 before I even washed it. The QVR hair does not feel like human hair. Then I smelled It. It’s a smell like I’ve never smelled on any hair. I’ve used synthetic hair in the past and nothing I have ever purchased smelled like this. It’s disgusting. I’ve been wearing different hair for the past 15 years and you can tell what’s human hair and what is not. I immediately wrote the company and I question whether it’s human hair and that I’m not very happy with the hair …they assure me it’s 100% human hair. I’m still doubtful and I’m allergic to synthetic hair so I cannot take the risk. I asked them how I return the hair. They ask me to send pictures of the hair in the packaging allegedly to see something related to manufacturing. I comply and send them pictures. They write back and say they can’t see the pictures to resend them. I comply again and send them. They write back and say what are you not happy with. I again expressed my concern that it’s not human hair. A day or so later they write back and they said after checking with their “boss”, they can offer me a $30 refund on a nearly $300 purchase. I say that is not acceptable. I want all of my money back. They write back another day and a half later and say OK if you authorize the return and I said yes that is what I’ve been doing. Another day and a half passes and they write back and they say they’ll have to send me a shipping label. I say OK. I immediately send a separate email telling them I will only pay for shipping back to Kentucky. I will not be paying any international shipping because this package came from Kentucky. It’s here on the label that I have. Two days go by they write back we can’t send you the shipping label until you agree to shipping. That is exactly what I’ve done in my previous email with the stipulation that I’m not paying for international shipping because this package did not come from an international destination. In the meantime, I do more extensive digging, and I found this website with the very same concerns. And because I’ve been googling the company so much I’m getting many more ads on my Facebook and Instagram page. And I’m now seeing on those sites more negative comments along the same lines. People saying that it’s not 100% human hair. People talking about the smell. And people saying that it tangled in less than a week. Unfortunately, this company is scamming us. Down to responding about how they went to their “boss” and asked could they refund. (another person posted a copy of their email which was exactly like what I got …The same $30 refund offer). And apparently this delay tactic of slow response to emails and asking me the same info over and over again… Other people seeking refunds have encountered the same. I saw one comment where they offered to refund if the person removed their negative review from this site. Black women are getting sick from chemicals in these hair products and scamming women by telling them this is human hair is unacceptable . I encourage people to do the same with state/federal consumer protection agencies
