I fully trusted China Highlights and booked all my tickets with them and honestly, it’s the first and last time. The service was terrible. I had to constantly chase my agent Annie because she never sent me the ticket confirmations and never informed me whether she had managed to get the tickets or not. On more than four occasions she failed to buy the tickets for me. However, with other companies like Trip.com, while Annie told me there were no tickets left for the train I wanted, they still had availability. When she couldn’t get a ticket, she notified me late and barely gave me any options for a new train. Tired of having to deal day in and day out with incompetent and unprofessional people, I decided to cancel my last trains with them and handle it myself. They refunded part of the money but not all of it, keeping some for the “supposed management” they carried out. I know you’ll see very good reviews — those reviews are what led me to trust them — but don’t be fooled. Poor service on their part.
