Beware when purchasing from overseas...
Previously purchased BV9900 Pro five years ago direct from HK with no problem. Wanted to upgrade to BL9000 Pro. Shipping was falsely advertised as "free to USA", only option was DHL for $40 which was still reasonable. Phone arrives at shipping where an additional $157 tariff was required. This was beyond my budget. This cost or some notice should have been visible during the purchase process.I sent an email to Ms. Joanne 0n 10/1 however she was out until the 7th. I contacted BV support (US) and was advised of the option to have DHL return it at "no" cost and my money will be refunded upon receipt of the phone. I did so under advisement of BV support. Now I am out of The full $700 cost of the phone and was given no cost details or explanation. I understand that the tariffs are causing headaches for everyone however BV could have been more transparent during checkout. Also more importantly it could have been handled much better by Ms. Joanne than her stern, dismissive responses to my inquiries. I would advise any potential customers do not order direct from company, for better customer service and protections use Amazon like I ultimately did.
