I recently purchased a WattCycle 314 Ah…
I recently purchased a WattCycle 314 Ah LiFePO4 battery and have been testing it extensively in my caravan. So far, I am very impressed with both the battery and WattCycle's customer service. I have tested the battery under continuous loads of approximately 25–30 A, as well as under much higher loads of up to around 100 A. During the capacity test at 25–30 A, I managed to get approximately 326 Ah out of the battery before stopping the test, with the battery still having a small amount of capacity remaining. I have also closely monitored the individual cell voltages during both charging and discharging, including under high loads. The cell balance has performed very well, even when the battery was subjected to currents approaching 100 A. My system uses Victron equipment, including a Victron SmartShunt, MPPT 100/30 and IP22 20 A charger, together with approximately 320 W of solar panels. What I particularly appreciate is WattCycle's customer service. They have been helpful, patient and willing to discuss the technical details. When I had questions about the battery and BMS behaviour, they took the time to help rather than simply giving a standard answer. I have only had the battery for a relatively short time, so this is not a long-term review yet. However, based on my testing so far, the battery has exceeded my expectations. Excellent capacity, very good performance under high loads, and excellent customer support. I am looking forward to continuing to test the battery in real-world use.
