GearUp are scammers be careful
My experience with GearUP — please be careful On October 3, 2025, I subscribed to GearUP’s annual plan. They advertised that I could cancel at any time during the trial period. I tried using the service, but unfortunately, it did not improve my experience at all. I contacted their support team, but they were unable to provide a solution, so I requested cancellation. Despite cancelling during the trial period, I was initially charged. I contacted them again, and they eventually refunded the amount. Since then, I have not used the app or their services at all. However, exactly one year later, I was shocked to discover that $93 USD had been charged to my bank account. I did not authorize this charge and was not expecting any renewal. I contacted GearUP three days ago to ask why I had been charged, especially since I had already cancelled my subscription and had not used the service since. Unfortunately, they have stopped responding to me. I am now contacting my bank to dispute the charge and block any further unauthorized payments from this company. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend being very careful when subscribing and checking your payment/subscription settings. Keep records of your cancellation and any communication with their support team. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I hope others can avoid going through the same situation.
