My Lymow One Gen1 – Love at First Sight ❤️
My name is Ninni, and I was one of the very first supporters of the Lymow One Gen1. Unfortunately, mine arrived only after the 2025 mowing season had already ended. So all I could really do was unbox it and check whether it would boot up. But that was absolutely fine, because the robot immediately made exactly the impression the developers had promised. A few weeks later, my additional accessories arrived and everything was complete. Then spring came. I charged the battery, updated the app and firmware to the latest versions, and finally let my Lymow loose. Calibration took a few attempts because I wanted it to navigate certain corners with absolute precision. My property has a long, continuous slope of around 45 degrees a serious challenge for any mower. My Lymow handled it with ease. I was genuinely impressed. I even built him his own little home, and these days he mows my 100 m² property three times a week. He has been doing this throughout the entire 2026 season, and I am still impressed every single day. The app and firmware are regularly updated and improved. Bugs are fixed, existing features are refined, and new ones are added. You can really tell that the developers are actively working on the product rather than simply releasing it and moving on. But the Lymow would not be what it is without an exceptionally good support team. And this is where Lymow really belongs in the premium league. For my Lymow One, I received additional upgrades that help keep the wheels cleaner and clean the charging contacts. That level of attention to detail impressed me more than I can say. The support team has my utmost respect: always helpful, always polite, always professional. I absolutely adore my Lymow One Gen1, and right now I simply cannot imagine a better mower for me. Yes, it has a price tag but in my opinion, it is worth every single cent. And then there is the camera. You can watch your Lymow mowing from its own point of view, which I find incredibly reassuring and, honestly, just really cool. I love it. 😉 The two blades, each 20 cm in diameter, spin incredibly fast. I would not use it at night, but that was never my goal anyway. I want to see what it is doing, and there are plenty of daylight hours for that. The blades can spin up extremely quickly, and in extreme conditions the mower can cut grass at up to 1 meter per second. My husband carefully sharpens the blades for me from time to time. What other robotic mower can do that? I honestly don't know of one. It is extremely effective. I personally let mine mow at around 50 cm per second with the standard blade speed, and even then the entire property is finished in less than 40 minutes. There are only two things I would still love to see improved. First, I would love to be able to control the Lymow like a drone, with live camera footage and joystick controls available simultaneously on my phone or tablet. At the moment, you can have the live view without the joysticks, or the joysticks without the live view. That is rather inconvenient if you need to intervene while sitting somewhere else or if the robot needs rescuing because something unexpected has happened. Second, I would like to see a gentler return path after the mower encounters an obstacle. Mine sometimes gets just one centimeter too close to the curb, detects the contact, moves roughly half a meter away, and then tries to return to its original path at such a sharp angle that it can hit the curb again. A much wider and smoother return angle would allow it to simply continue mowing along the edge without any further problems. But honestly, that's criticism at a very high level. If I didn't already own my Lymow One Gen1, I would buy it again without hesitation. For me, it was the perfect choice. It was simply love at first sight. Thank you, Lymow! ❤️
