Sending Fake Gift Cards, Seriously
It seems like they are doing this on purpose. I ordered $100 Sephora gift card. They sent me 19 digit code and 4 digit pin. Whoever use sephora. knows very well that sephora gift cards come with 16 digit card and 8 digit pin numbers. Now their chatbot wants me to email this issue to a support email which is not their own email. How does an email of supportprofessionals.net has anything to do with livecards.net? I have never heard any genuine website using such tactic ever before I wish I had seen these bad reviews before placing the order. I have already sent support email to both of these support domains emails, supportprofessionals.net and livecards.net I will update this review based on the support provided by them. Update 1: Received an email asking all these info. 1.Code entered in the Sephora redemption field. 2.Error message during the redemption process. 3.Your Sephora Store region 4.Your Sephora account purchases. 5.Any communication from Sephora Support showing the code's redemption date and time. Replied: The problem with your gift card is, It is not a Sephora Gift Card because Sephora Gift Cards has only 16 digits card number but you have given 19 digits which the website won't accept. It only accepts till 16 digits. Then, there's the pin which has to be 8 digits for sephora and yours is only 4 digits. also explained not having an account with sephors since and that the purchase was for my grand daughter. also, that you can check balance without login in on sephora's website. Received another email: After careful examination, your gift card is indeed valid; however, it appears that you are not activating it correctly. They want me to add things in cart and redeem the code at checkout. So, I created an account just to prove them wrong. took screenshot and replied: What part of Sephora Gift Card being 16 digits and 8 digits pin did you not understand. Because of your stubbornness I had to create an account, just to show you the same thing at checkout. Do you see? It only takes 16 digits of the card numbers. Yours is 19 digits. Do you see? It askes for 8 digits PIN. Stop Wasting my time and send me a working, valid gift code. Update 2: After 3-4 back to back emails and me denying their request to wait 72 hours, they have now cancelled my order giving this excuse. Update 3: After confirming two products actually available with them for 2 days, I placed a new order and they put my order on hold asking a picture of my debit card. I shared my virtual debit card picture since My bank has give virtual debit card. The screenshot was clearly showing that It was my bank app but they denied that wanted me to share a physical debit card picture. That's just a lame excuse to not complete the order because they don't have any real products. They are completely trying to rip people off because no one would go to lengths that I've gone to get my money back. And they know that very well. Simple rule "Refund those who bother too much and keep those who don't care about those small purchases." (Upon checking the codes and consulting with our supplier, we've discovered that there was a mix-up with the old batches, resulting in invalid codes. Regrettably, we're currently out of stock for replacements. Therefore, we will cancel your order and initiate a refund for your payment. You can expect the refund to be processed within 48 hours.) Of course they had to cancel because I'm no fool to wait for 72 hours so I'll have a permanent charge on my bank. Never, Ever buy anything from this website. I believe they are scam and people with small transaction value will not go the lengths I had to, to get my money back. I mean who disputer $5-$10 transaction since it's a hassle to dispute because bank then cancels your card and you have to wait for a new card. Update 3: I received my refund after 2 days of placing the order. I am going to place a new order, give them a chance to prove that they are actually genuine. Let's see how that goes Reply To livecards.net: My order ID: 2685-4811240 Seriously, stop wasting my time or I'll report this to BBB with all proofs I'm collecting. If you didn't had the right code you could've just cancelled my order without marking a permanent charge on my account but you tried to scam me by sending fake codes that were not even in the right format and your support team still insisted that they have checked very carefully and that those codes were right. Imagine, what would've happened if the codes you sent me were in right format but still invalid. I'm sure your support team would've simply denied for any support. You are refunding because you got caught.
