RetractoGate for a busy staircase/hallway
RetractoGate made our difficult staircase safe. We have a challenging setup with our staircase located in a thin, narrow hallway that connects three rooms at the top of the stairs. Because our staircase banister is made of metal, many standard gates wouldn’t work, and a pressure‑mounted gate was not a safe option. Re‑Tracto‑Gate went above and beyond. I sent them photos of our staircase, and their team carefully reviewed them, marked them up, and provided clear, step‑by‑step instructions tailored specifically to our space. The level of detail and personalization was impressive. During installation, when we had questions, their customer service was exceptional. They were able to pull up our profile immediately and walk us through the process over the phone in real time, making a potentially stressful install smooth and reassuring. The gate fits perfectly, feels secure, and looks great. It’s also easy for me and older family members to access all the rooms connected to the staircase without being a tripping hazard. I can’t recommend Re‑Tracto‑Gate enough—for both their product quality and truly outstanding customer service.
