To finish the story about my nightmare with Litfad, I finally got my two piece couch which, though overpriced and offered for $1000 less during the time of my struggle, is nice looking and appears to be well made. Unfortunately, despite assurances that it would be unpacked and the packaging hauled away by the shipper, the shipment was dumped boxed behind my building where deliveries are left, and the truck drove off. I am 71 with cancer and had to ask friends to help me get the huge boxes up to my condo, unbox and assemble the pieces, and get rid of the packaging. I asked about the promised discounts for the inconvenience and was repeatedly responded to by auto replies telling me it did not know what I was referring to. People I know enjoy hearing the latest "Litfad" horror story.
