Academics not considered
We had a very poor experience with NCSA. My son is a strong student-athlete with a clearly defined academic goal, yet the schools NCSA matched him with did not even offer his intended degree program. Despite reaching out to multiple colleges through the platform, no schools with his actual degree program ever responded. The service felt generic and automated rather than personalized, which defeats the entire purpose of paying for recruiting assistance. When we attempted to cancel after realizing the matches were academically incompatible and ineffective, we were not allowed to cancel, which added to the frustration. For the cost, we expected meaningful academic alignment, real outreach support, and basic flexibility when the service clearly wasn’t delivering. Unfortunately, we received none of that. I would not recommend this service to families who care about academic fit as much as athletics.
