Warranty required $200 return shipping to China for defective watch
I purchased a Boderry watch in July 2025 for approximately $150. After a few months of normal use, the watch began stopping randomly and would not run reliably. I contacted Boderry customer service, and they agreed to repair it under warranty. However, they required me to ship the watch back to China at my own expense. I obtained quotes from FedEx, UPS, and DHL, all of which were around $200, which exceeds the value of the watch. I also attempted to ship it through USPS, but they informed me they could not ship watches to China. Boderry also instructed me in writing to declare the value as $12 when returning the watch. I made multiple good-faith efforts over several months to resolve this and requested a prepaid label, U.S. repair option, or replacement, but they stopped responding. I have now had to pursue a dispute with my bank. The watch itself looks nice, but based on my experience, the warranty support has been very disappointing.
