From booking to tours, services and hotels, I would rate overall an excellent service and experience. The reason for the 4 vs. 5 star is for the hotels we stayed at. They were a 3-star rated - great staff service but room was mediocre and old - I believe it was called Hotel Osel in Paro, second hotel, second hotel in Punakha - Zhingkham Resort was the best with nice views, room cleanliness and bathroom was not as run down as the first hotel, and last hotel in Paro - Tashi Namgay Resort was nice and spacious with a beautiful view but plumbing issues made the bathroom smells really bad. Overall though, our agent Thalia was super responsive and answered all of our questions. Out local tour guide Mr. Trashi was knowledgeable and attentive and awesome guide and so was our driver Mr. Ishii in making sure we got to our places safely. We really enjoyed our trip and it was a low travel season so we didn’t have to fight with a lot of folks for beautiful picturesque spots. The locals are nice and super safe place with vibrant cultures and history. I would totally recommend it!
