Less than reputable “organization”
We recently donated a 2005 Harley Davidson 883l in running condition that had NO damage & included custom paint & several thousand in upgrades. The book value was around $4,000.00 without the upgrades & additional equipment. There were several phone calls to even arrange pickup so communication is lacking professionalism. Other than the initial letter there was no further contact from this “organization” so I followed up & was told they auctioned it for $425.00…what a joke & scam this “organization” is. My advice is to sell your own vehicle & donate to an actual local veterans organization. As a veteran myself this is disheartening. Don’t waste your time!!!
