Update about DEEOVE and other fake sites.
I have submitted a review before about DEEOVE and this is a followup. I already received my money back through dispute through my credit card and also filed a report with the FTC as everyone tells us to do. I did some deep diving and this is what I have learned. First most of these companies clone other pictures and ads from other retailers, hotels, merchandise etc. They will clone an entire website. There is nothing the cloned company can do. Most push their ads through social media such as YouTube, Tic-Tok and Facebook. Those social sites are supposed to have a verification process in place but often these companies submit a small legitimate sales ad that gets approved but once approved they put up the ads that scam people. None of the social media sites follow up or monitor these people. They do nothing but collect the money for accepting the advertising. These media sites put out disclaimers that they are not responsible for anything that happens to you if you purchase from these sites. The social media sites accept the money to accept the add, put out a disclaimer to cover their own behinds,( there is actually a law that protects them from liability but allows them to accept the payments and permit the advertising.) and then totally turn their backs while counting the money they are depositing in their accounts. Finally the FTC. Everyone tells you to report them, however, the FTC can do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PREVENT IT OR STOP IT if the company is not based in the United States. All they can do is keep a record of the reports. All these companies are outside the US. The internet regulates nothing and that is why scams run wild like the wild west. Your best bet is to check reviews on the company. Not the reviews shown on the company website but reviews on another sight such as TrustPilot. Always, if you do decide to purchase, use a credit card with fraud protection so you can dispute it and get your money back if you did not receive what was depicted. What ever type service the company uses to accept card payments will eventually cancel their service if they receive too many charge backs (card disputes), however, it can be months before it catches up with them and they just put another server in its place and continue to do business.. Always buyers beware. These companies know fully well that they are scamming you and have no intention of returning your funds, they know you can't stop them and they will continue to do so as long as people keep playing the game. The best thing to do is be smart and use common sense. Good luck to you all. PS. Deeove has offered me a 20% discount coupon for a new purchase ( REALLY ??!!!!) if I will keep the merchandise and shut up and help them out by leaving them alone. Of course I said NO! and still demanded a full refund.
