If you’re considering going solar
If you’re considering going solar, I strongly recommend avoiding SunStrong Management. When SunStrong took over Sunnova at the end of 2025, my system had been serviced by Sunnova for less than a year. One of my panels was producing only about 57% of the output of the others. A technician confirmed the issue on-site but never fixed it. I never agreed to a system where only some panels work properly — I expect full performance from all of them. I reported the problem to Sunnova, but nothing was done, likely due to their bankruptcy. Now that SunStrong manages the system, they refuse to address the issue. I’ve provided photos directly from the monitoring app, yet they dismiss them and insist the system is “within acceptable ranges,” which it clearly isn’t. Their customer service — or more accurately, non-service — is extremely difficult to reach, and when you finally do, they refuse to escalate the issue to a supervisor. As a result, my panel is still underperforming with no resolution in sight. After reading similar complaints on the Florida Attorney General’s website, it’s clear this is not an isolated problem. Stay far away from this company.
