Worst banking experience in 10 years of business
After more than 10 years as a business owner, this has been by far the worst experience I have had with a financial institution. Aspire spent weeks requesting documents, contracts, bank statements and detailed explanations about Lovinapple LLC. I provided everything they asked for, repeatedly. After all that, they approved and opened the account, only to restrict it almost immediately and then close it. No one contacted me beforehand to explain any issue or request clarification. The closure notice simply referred vaguely to their Acceptable Use Policy without explaining what the alleged problem was. What makes the experience worse is the amount of sensitive personal and corporate information they collected throughout the onboarding process, only to close the account immediately after approval. They are also holding a USD 1,000 balance and stated that a transfer fee may be deducted when returning my own funds. The whole process has been extremely unprofessional, inconsistent and a complete waste of time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Aspire.
