When I was informed that I needed to register my drone with the CAAC and was given the link for it, I was concerned the validity of the site. However, it looked legit so I applied. After that, the respond was extremely helpful. I was provided with advise on how and where not to fly the drone with maps and on going assistance. I will fly my drone legally according to their advice.
