Showed up—no event, no host, no notice
I attended a speed dating event at Civic Taproom on April 25 at the listed time, but there was no host, no participants, and no event taking place. The venue had no awareness of any event happening. The listing still showed the event as active, and there was no clear or timely notice that it had been postponed. I only found out after reaching out myself. When I contacted the organizer, I was directed to Eventbrite to request a refund rather than having the issue resolved directly. This was frustrating and embarrassing after making the effort to attend. I would be cautious booking with this company.
