Bait and switch
I purchased a three month subscription thinking it was a low-commitment but after 3 months, they renewed it automatically for another three months. There is no way to cancel in the app and it isn’t listed in your Apple account subscriptions. To cancel, I had to log into the website. They tell you this in “terms” that you receive in email after signing up, but you never see this in the app on your phone. This might not have mattered if their app was good, but it’s not! No matter what level you test at the beginning, you can’t skip ahead and have to test out of each tedious section. The whole dubbed movie clips thing is gimmicky, not like natural language. The abridged audiobooks are ok, but selection is very limited and you just have to scroll through all the titles to find what is available in your level (no filter in search ).
