Read before purxhasing
We purchased travel insurance with the expectation that it would provide meaningful protection in the event unforeseen circumstances arose. After waiting on hold for nearly an hour to file a claim, we were informed that our policy included “no cancellation coverage for any reason.” It is extremely frustrating and misleading to offer a travel insurance product that does not provide one of the most basic protections consumers reasonably expect when purchasing coverage. The entire experience was disappointing, confusing, and a complete waste of time. I received a response back from AON Travel Care Insurance indicating I have not filed a claim with them. After speaking with your representative, they indicated we have no claim since our policy did not cover any type of cancellations. Another case of one hand not knowing what the other is doing!
