Grab is a company run by robber baron
I use a lot of ride sharing APPs. From Bolt to InDrive to Lineman to TADA to Yandex and yes Grab. I talk to a lot of drivers out of curiosity. From talking to more than 100 drivers across all ride sharing APPs, I'm appalled to learn that Grab is borderline grifting both the customers and the drivers. Bottomline is that Grab takes nearly 50% of the money for just providing a platform. This reflect in the price where consumers pay the most while drivers get the least. Grab claimed they take about 30% but then padded additional percentage on top with ridiculous items like insurance and donation...these added charges are not optional to drivers...when all said and done, Grab actual take is btw 40-50%! It's hard for me to support this type of company that takes advantage of people. They have loads of money to buy media for favorable coverages but the truth is the truth and no amount of money can buy that.
