Damaged shipment, Uship insists on positive review
I picked a shipper from the bids received on UShip, not the lowest offer. The driver ignored the height of our boat, hit a bridge, then hid the damage. When we finally unpacked the boat, we found the damage and tried to make a claim. The driver disappeared, UShip wouldn't even let me update my review to reflect the damage that was 3x more than the cost of the delivery. It's a great platform, but if they don't let you update feedback about shippers, you have exactly no reason to trust any of the reviews or shippers. I will not use Uship again for this reason only. *Edit* uShip tried to help find a solution with the shipper but had no teeth and the shipper ghosted us. The UShip terms won't let me update my review, so another person will ship with this unscrupulous shipper. That is the definition of a broken platform.
