You might want to do some research on this site. There are some shady "auctioneer sites" associated with LiveAuctioneers. Having learned the hard way, there are many selling cheap copies of vintage photos, poorly backed and overpriced. Not saying they're all bad, but there's enough to believe LA doesn't do anything to stop them. Just Google LiveAuctioneers and see what the AI feature brings up. Some houses seem to be legit, others appear to be part of some sort of scam selling cheap knockoffs of famous art poorly printed and mounted, and overpriced.
